Intellectual Property Policy and Copyright

INFORMATION

Each illustration is based on a parody* or a scene or humor environment and is made in good faith and with the sole objective of entertaining everyone who takes it in their shirts, sweatshirts or other geek products.

If you somehow believe that your industrial and/or intellectual property rights have somehow infringed, please notify our legal department by sending an email to legal@friking.es including the following information:

  • Copyright identification, registered trademark or what has been infringed.
  • The complete address (URL) of the products and/or designs in question.
  • Your name, address, telephone and email.
  • A statement where you expose in good faith that the material subject to the complaint violates the law or your rights. 
  • A statement that all the information provided is correct and truthful.

We assure you that in the event that any design or product violates some industrial and/or intellectual property rights, the Geek brand will take measures to withdraw or disable products.

If your notification does not meet all the aforementioned warning requirements, it may not be valid and geek can ignore such incomplete or inaccurate notices without any responsibility of any kind.

The exercise of transformation of a work that does not require the consent of the holder of the parodied work is considered parody and entails a modification or mutation of the original characters, which results in the birth of an original work and different from the parodied. According to the law, so that parody does not require authorized by the author, it must be an ironic reproduction of the original, it should not create confusion between the original and parodied work and should not infer damage to the normal exploitation of the original work.
